He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa before receiving his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading dental institutions.

At Oak Family Dental, Dr. McLean provides comprehensive general dentistry in Oak Forest, IL, with a strong focus on both oral health and smile aesthetics. He specializes in Invisalign® clear aligner therapy, helping patients achieve straighter, more confident smiles with a modern, discreet orthodontic solution.

Dr. Bawa is a board-certified orthodontist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles for patients of all ages. With extensive experience treating children, teens, and adults, he takes a personalized and collaborative approach to orthodontic care, making sure every treatment plan reflects each patient’s unique goals, needs, and lifestyle.

Dr. Bawa earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. He went on to complete his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Indiana University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction that reflects his commitment to advanced orthodontic education and excellence in patient care.

Having practiced in multiple states, Dr. Bawa has had the opportunity to care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds and at every stage of life. Whether a patient is considering traditional braces, clear braces, or Invisalign, he believes the best orthodontic treatment begins with listening. He takes the time to understand what each patient hopes to achieve and works together with them to create a treatment plan that is both effective and personalized.

With a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, Dr. Bawa enjoys the challenge of creating beautifully aligned, natural-looking smiles while maintaining a strong focus on oral health and long-term results. Outside of the office, Dr. Bawa is a proud Washington, D.C. native and a passionate Baltimore Ravens and University of Virginia sports fan. When he isn't creating smiles, he enjoys playing pickleball and tennis and recently earned his sailing license.
